dankoo 0 Report post Posted May 7, 2010 Just a note for those using 5 series Roomba, you should do all maintenance yourself cos all part are modular. You can basically take it apart easily like your M16 (if you been to NS)...dont waste time and money on the local disty....
dankoo 0 Report post Posted May 7, 2010 Hey ossify, just wondering you using the raindance from standalone heater, how is the pressure cos I understand it needs at least 1.5bar to work.

Hey ossify, just wondering you using the raindance from standalone heater, how is the pressure cos I understand it needs at least 1.5bar to work. feels like soft rain at first the Hansgrohe salesperson asked me not to use the filter inside if I experience low pressure but I found that my pressure was rather high without the filter so I added it in and it's good! soft rain
purecat 0 Report post Posted May 7, 2010 I don't think boxing up is illegal though. As per HDB website, anything stated clearly that u should not do, u cannot do. Otherwise, it is gd to go. In any case, anyone can go back to their HDB officer to get the approval if unsure. Asethetic wise, boxing up the pipes make the toilet looks better in my opinion. Renovation is not only abt renovating the place but beautifying the home at the same time. If boxing is really not allowed, the worst case that can happen is remove the boxing when problem arises in the future. box up is really illegal. for our existing 4 room, our contractor apply for the permit to box up but was rejected. still we went ahead to box up... then a few yrs .... neighbour unit waterproofing old liao ( flat 20+ yrs old ), end up we got to hack the box up ( cos it was wet !) , before we can ask HDB to come ck. then after complaint.. we ended up having to pay 1/3 of the cost upstairs.... We complaint.... but ended up they get a new toilet flooring n new toilet bowl n basin... with us paying a share... / me sob... after u hack off the box.. u ended up with holes on ur wall tiles... very ugly ! so do box up at your risk... maybe need to consider how old ur flat is. Cos i also heard before electrical wiring for HDB cannot do conceal one. Thanks Electrical wiring can be "concealed" when it is a punchthrough from the wall behind. This is a special circumstance similar to how you do "concealed" aircon trunkings My whole house has only one such case. hey ossify, emailed u yesterday..pls get back to me! thanks Ok was bringing my wife out whole of yesterday
