Called Audiohouse to ask when they will deliver, they said no more stock, ask me if i want to choose another model? Just told them i'll take my deposit back. Put deposit but no stock, first time experienced..

On the same note, Pang giap also called me to inform me that the top-hung bi-fold door for my toilet is out of stock, told them to call me back when it's in stock. Will proceed to do just the MBR swing door with them. Silver aluminium frame, grey acrylic panel, inclusive of lockset, doorstopper. $420+GST

I'm now looking for TV and bi-fold door. :o

For bi-fold door, Pang Giap has completed it and will install this Wed :D

Got my deposit back from Audiohouse (had to go back to the same store I bought from), the refund was very fast (about 10min).

As for the TV, I am interested in getting the following plasma tv

Model: Panasonic 42" C10

Price: $664

Place: Best denki Vivocity

Freebies: Free wall mount bracket, 10 best voucher with every 500 bucks spent.

Warranty: 1 + 2 yrs

hi ossify,

replying here instead of dugong's blog

the laminates looked good man! skirting all up and proper.. :good:

anyway, i had enquired via Robina's web, this Kenneth guy replied me.

at first he quoted me 488sqft at $4.50psf for 3 bedrooms...then after a few emails he quoted me

482sqft at $4.30psf...is it considered expensive? lucky i asked here...

i didnt ask for any Pergo...specifically asked for Robina's Natural Bamboo,

Platinum Teak and Euroline...although he did say final quote is based on site measurement

btw, worth to hack and then cement screed or just overlay the laminates?

YNWA,

El Nino

erm. you want me to get better price for you? :D

whether to overlay or not depends on your existing flooring. if it's level and not hollow, don't hack it! if it's uneven/hollow, you have to screed it. hacking is not necessary.

Sony Bravia KDL-32BX300 LCD HDTV First Impressions Review - Sony - Reviews of Televisions and Television Ratings - TelevisionInfo.com

from TelevisionInfo - Jan 09, 2010

The KDL-32BX300 takes Sony to an interesting new place: a price point of under $500 for a 32-inch HDTV. That makes this new model one of the cheaper 32-inch HDTVs out there. What your $500 gets you is a basic, but decent looking display. This display will be available in March.

It's a new new model :) It's only available in March for the US.

Day 40 Wednesday

skipped tuesday as nothing was done. today hails the arrival of the long awaited eubiq power track (update: uploaded new pics with adaptors)

Total cost for the day's work: $0

Hacking 50ft walls and clearing of debris: $1000

Accumulated cost for labour: $5500 (including clearing of debris)

Accumulated cost for raw materials: $2340.21

Total reno bill as of now: $8840.21

Plumbing: $880 (remaining $380)

Electrical: $2000 (remaining $500)

received news that my MBR shower glass will be installed tomorrow!

ordered 1x PJ OEM sink from Poh Joo $150 600x460 thinking it can fit into my toilet but it's too big :( there was a bulge in the middle so it can't fit into my toilet... don't think i can sand it down to fit :( added PVC bottom trap $2, total $152 (no pic as not installed yet) will install this in MBR, buy already have to use :(

guess this means i have to wait for Crizto to replenish their stock for 590x460 sink. the supplier said it'll come in next week.

my plumber will come in on thu or fri. movers will move my furniture on fri morning. ikea RD will come on fri morning too. it'll be crowded on friday :( hope all things go well

no news from besglas yet on the installation. should be next week, if what they promised me initially is true.

i saw this once and was quite interested in it. Is there a limit to the number of sockets you can use on one track? Mind sharing how much was the setup for the track in the living room? Thanks! :)
