ossify 1 Report post Posted December 10, 2009 thanks, i know about the 100-day return policy but these items are AS-IS, so no refunds. i'm not trying to refund, i want them to wrap the items (as promised) and to make good (whatever damages caused due to their fault) because to me, this seems like misrepresentation. manager just called me to say (paraphrased) : we did wrap the items at our side but before items were delivered, we unwrapped it and delivered it unwrapped my reply : it could be that the items were wrapped and delivered unwrapped, or that the items were not wrapped and were delivered unwrapped. either case, the item is damaged because the item was unwrapped, which is not as promised. i see it delivered unwrapped when i was promised wrapped, and i see damage, so that's a problem. shall see how it pans out. worst case situation is to relaminate update on this: after investigation, i was given 2 options, cash refund of the delivery charges in full or replacement of damaged parts (but need to wait for unspecified time) i think i'll just take the $$. don't know how long they'll take to replace my parts. on another related event: i bought the silver metal frame for my glass dining table at $20 from AS-IS (usual price $40), now waiting for the chrome legs if i buy from ikea, it'll cost me $100 for 4 chrome legs, more than the $70 i spent on the glass top and the metal frame. gantan88 0 Report post Posted December 10, 2009 Hi, ya, the 2 'rings' are for pull/push. But this is also a top-hung door. I think we can simply push the door open, if pull, we may need the ring... like a bit troublesome because everytime close the door have to hold the ring to pull the door. Unless there are some grooves that we can use..
