hawthorne 0 Report post Posted August 3, 2009 My HDB unit is those that comes with concealed wiring. I would like to relocate some tel points in the house, as well as to add some ethernet points. Any one has DIY on hacking into the wall and concealing the wires? What is the complexity of the job? will a simple hammer drill be able to do the job? Can I just slot the wire into the wall and plaster it.. or do I need to house the wires in those PVC pipes etc? Thanks in advanced

Thanks in advanced is your current place real wall with concealed wiring or cornice?! if you want to remove them in a real wall, you have to drill into them slowly, locating your wires or you can just remove the points... slotting the wire into the wall and plastering them is against HDB ruling... but some had done this before..
