sharp 0 Report post Posted August 2, 2009 Hi Everyone, I spend quite abit of time in the toilet, reading the papers and listening to the radio. As such, I am thinking of doing up the toilet of my new place properly with a fan/cooling unit and built in ceiling speakers. The toilet is normally stuffy and I am thinking how or what I could install to keep the ventilation going and air cool inside. Anything besides the normal bulky wall mounted fans which could be replace easily if it is spoiled? I hope to have the fan / speakers done tastefully and hope to have advise on the types and brands that I could look out for. Thanks !

Don't mind me saying this: spending more than required time in the toilet is no good. Prone to develop piles. By making your toilet more comfortable you will tend to spend even more time in the toilet. That might not be good in the long run.
Ericang 0 Report post Posted August 3, 2009 JBL and BOSE have some nice ceiling speakers... But then u will have to power the speakers by a AV amp and linking those messy speakers cables out of the toilet (i dun think u will wan to have a AV Amp in the bathroom). I suggest that you buy those mini hifi sets. Cheaper coz effective For ventilation fans, get those exhaust fan from KDK... mount them in the louver windows opening. Regards -Eric

Regards -Eric thanks.. have seen some Philips and Sony ones but the promoters claim not good for system as moisture will set in.. but since the mini hifis are cheap, ok to change every now and then saw the KDK window mounted ones and the ceiling ones much quieter but only problem is how to duct the tube out? unsightly to pipe to window..
