Deco Idea For Wooden Chests

Recommended Posts

I was cleaning up my house to prepare for a paint job next week. Came across these 2 wooden chests (refer to image). It was brought over from China when my grandparents settle down in Singapore. It takes up quite a bit of space and I don't really want to throw it away.

I was thinking of using it as a bed side table but my bed isn't low enough. Anyone has any suggestion how I can better use it?

What about putting them together to make a coffee table or something?

Thanks for the suggestion!

But the height isn't very tall, might be hard to do so.

add castors to them and make them mobile will increase height a little and can be use as a coffee table if you sofa aint very high. Alternatively u can get cheap legs from ikea which can raise the chest up by 11cm-16cm or get the 45 cm grundal stainless steel legs, then probably make an interesting bedside table

The second idea sounded great! Don't really want to make any physical modification but using a raised platform to make it suitable as a bedside table is interesting.
