lipton 0 Report post Posted July 28, 2009 I was cleaning up my house to prepare for a paint job next week. Came across these 2 wooden chests (refer to image). It was brought over from China when my grandparents settle down in Singapore. It takes up quite a bit of space and I don't really want to throw it away. I was thinking of using it as a bed side table but my bed isn't low enough. Anyone has any suggestion how I can better use it?

gundamv 1 Report post Posted July 29, 2009 add castors to them and make them mobile will increase height a little and can be use as a coffee table if you sofa aint very high. Alternatively u can get cheap legs from ikea which can raise the chest up by 11cm-16cm or get the 45 cm grundal stainless steel legs, then probably make an interesting bedside table

Don't really want to make any physical modification but using a raised platform to make it suitable as a bedside table is interesting.
