Blown Up Photos In Frames

Recommended Posts

I'm not sure how to describe them, but i am looking for framed prints of blown up photos to be mounted on walls for decorative purposes. I've come across a few frames of black and white photograghs of New York in Ikea, that were as big as 3ft by 2ft. Anybody knows where i could buy these, and what are they called, cos i am sure they are not paintings, but rather big sized photographs in frames..

Those must be the type mounted on artist canvas frame that you are referring to? If not, it is the normal photo frames used to frame photos.

If you are looking for the artist canvas frame type, my suggestion is that you can use a photograph, blow it up to the size you want. It's more personal this way but you need someone who is expert to stretch the photo over the canvas or else you can google for such service provided for both photo and canvas. Otherwise, just buy a photo frame for the size of the upsized photograph you want.

yah, take a picture then just blow it up, it's more personalised. if you put those ikea ones, you probably go to ur friend's place, and he might have the same one. or you can look through those istockphotos, for nice b/w, then blow it up to be a canvas wall frame.

I have actually got a friend to photoshop my 床头照 to something more artistic.

After that I went to a printing company to print on canvas material and them mount them on the canvas frame.

The effect is quite good. got quite a number of praises from friends.
