bergkamp 0 Report post Posted July 20, 2009 Is the Great Singapore Sale really good? I am trying to figure if its worth buying furniture now 4 months in advance of moving into my new flat? If the discounts will appear again later in the year, then I would prefer buying later. Anyone who has seen the price trends in previous years can comment? Since businesses generally slow down after GSS and due to the hungry ghost 7th month, they are forced to lower prices to clear stocks and generate enough revenue to sustain their momentum. you should try bargaining, I won't be surprise if the sales man gives in after a couple of negos..
