Nekorin 0 Report post Posted July 14, 2009 Help.... I just received a backdated letter stating that if I did not submit the documents by 25th June. The Additional Housing Grant will not be processed. And my 1st appointment is in 2days... Be it human error or anything, is there anyway I can do to salvage the situation and get the HDB process the AHG? When I went for my 1st appt, my officer was trying ways and means to help me get the AHG when I had no intention to in the 1st place. So just get ready your documents and present it. To clear your doubts further, I suggest that you call the HDB officer in charged of your case.

They are willing to help me process the application for AHG as even though it is 2days prior to the 1st appointment. Really grateful to them.

I think they are trying their best to hand out the AHG to people who need it, which is a good sign.
merryman 0 Report post Posted July 15, 2009 Usually they will help.. I also received the notice of HG (near parents) not granted (not AHG) and I called to check with the officer, finally through some hassles, she helped us solved the issue....
