Hi Everyone,

My ID want to charge us $15k for managing our A&A of our inter ter, the whole reno will take around 5 months, he said need to liase with contractor and us and have to meet every week, right now, he came out with both the exterior and interior of our house, we like to know whether it is too high a price to pay for his service or not? also we will need his company to plan all the carpentry in our house. Anyone can stay how much they paid their ID for managing their A&A, thanks

I have a friend who used an ID to do his A&A work too. I think he paid quite a sum of money, though I am not at liberty to disclose it. The fee of $15,000 is not too high if I were to compare it with my friend's ID A&A works.

Just a suggestion, why do you need an ID to help you? If your works are not too complex, you could consult a few contractors and architects and then select amongst them to help you with the work. In general, I don't think IDs are more knowledgable than architects in designing the A&A plan. ID will probably has to work with and rely on the professional views of the architect too. The architect will then help you oversee the project.
