forgotten 1 Report post Posted April 10, 2010 (edited) Thanks for your reply... oh dear that doesn't sound good, are they going to help you rectify the problem? We're looking at bedroom sets cos less headache to think of how to match all furniture in the same room etc. What is considered low end? Based on price...? sorry asking a lot of qns cos me still noob le haha~ Thanks in advance~ To me, "Low end" means unbelievably cheap and using wood fibre boards. I'm also a noob. Beds.sg agrees to send people to glue back the faux leather on my bedframe headboard next sat. BTW you may come across some "overwhelmingly positive" feedbacks on Beds.sg. Beds.sg actually gives out $20 vouchers to customers who write positive feedbacks of them online. Edited April 14, 2010 by forgotten
Naveed Lee 0 Report post Posted April 15, 2010 (edited) To me, "Low end" means unbelievably cheap and using wood fibre boards. Hi forgotten, Firstly, thank you for your continuous support of Beds.sg, we deeply appreciate your repeated orders. We are very sorry and ashamed to have disappointed you and delivered an item below your expectation (and seriously, ours too!) We would like to extend our sincere apologies. If you could PM me your actual name and invoice number, I would investigate this incident thoroughly. There were a couple of things you mentioned you were dissatisfied about that I would like to address. 1) that the height of the bedframe was too low for your comfort. We do always advise our customers to check the dimensions before purchase, the height of the bedframe was clearly stated as 18cm on the product description. The type of legs used ia also clearly stated, nevertheless, we will offer you an upgrade to the chrome legs free of charge. 2) You mentioned that the headboard is thinner.... well, it is basically a different model from the one you purchased earlier. We did not use a thinner headboard on the same model. If I am not wrong, you should be referring to the Miller Bed Frame which is retailing for $257 for queen size. The other models such as Florence @ $289 will have the usual thick headboards. We have also clearly shown the side view of the Miller Bed's Headboard on the product page. Nevertheless, we will still allow you to change to others models without charge. 3) You also mentioned that there are some pins that fell off the headboard. We sincerely apologize for this. As, you stated earlier that there is a servicing arranged next week to rectify the problems. Let us know if the servicing is unsatisfactory, we will arrange for a full refund. 4) You had suggested strongly that our products are low quality, on this I differ. In fact, we are so confident of our quality that we actually don't collect payment until the item is delivered to your residence, not even a deposit. In other words, you only make payment when the item is delivered to you and you are happy with the quality, before that, we do not even collect a single cent. No other retailers do that. Even if you were happy with your purchase but somehow changed your mind a few days after using the furnitures, you are still eligible for a refund within 7 days, no questions asked. 5) You mentioned in 2 different threads that we give $20 voucher to our customer to write positive feedbacks about our company. This could not be further from the truth! There are basically only 1 type of feedback system in Beds.sg and that is our product reviews. We do not pay any customers to write product reviews. Although many reviews are positive, there are also some bad reviews, we do not censor the reviews. All reviews are from actual customers that purchased from us before. The $20 voucher you mentioned is actually our Blogger's Rebate program. Under this program, customers with blogs can write about their purchasing experience with Beds.sg and we will give a $20 voucher. This is very different from, as you mentioned, giving customers vouchers to write positive feedback. We at no point in time insisted that a positive account of Beds.sg have to be written to receive the voucher. Frankly, I am affected by your comments on the Bloggers' Rebate program.(I personally conceived the idea of the bloggers' rebate). I am at the same time thankful that you had pointed it out, otherwise, I wouldn't be aware that the $20 voucher would be so easily misconceived. As such, though painful, I will be pulling the plug on the Bloggers' Rebate Program, it will cease to exist with immediate effect. Once again, please PM me your actual name and invoice number so that I can get my team to do the free upgrade for you to the chrome legs. Thank you again for your continued support and really appreciate the feedbacks! Cheers! (great forum by the way!) Naveed Lee CEO Beds.sg Hi Naveed, I only see your reply today, as I didn't check this thread. Thanks for taking the time to explain. I appreciate it. The email which I received about Bloggers' Rebate Program mentioned about portraying beds.sg in a positive light. Thus it lead me to think that one would only receive the voucher for only positive review. I didn't know that negative review was entitled to the voucher too. I've copied and pasted the email content below for your info. The reason why I did not ask to refund the bedframe was because we would be sleeping on the floor the next day lol (moving in date) if we refunded it. Till now, the pins problem has not been rectified yet. I've pm you my invoice no. Btw I've made total 4 orders with beds.sg. On the scheduled date of fixing the problem, your staff called me to inform me that he could not come to my place because his vehicle broke down. After that, I hear no more news about it. Have you called them up? I hope they will rectify the problem or exchange the pieces for you. The 2 furniture pieces which I bought from The Green Furnishing are pretty sturdy. My hubby is 100Kg+. The sofa cushion hasn't "sunk" despite of our heavy weight. And part of my Roman Mop broke after I accidentally hit it against the bottom of the sofa; this showed the strength of the sofa material LOL. Hope to read more positive feedback 'bt The Green Furnishing! I bought sofa & coffee table from their civic centre outlet. What I appreciate were: Salesman allowed me to store them at their warehouse for 4 months until I got my keys. Salesman allowed me to exchange them for other items if I changed my mind about them during those months. (I didn't ask for this. I was surprised when he offered this) Delivery was on time. Take note that their prices were the cheapest out there though. Edited June 5, 2010 by forgotten

forgotten 1 Report post Posted June 5, 2010 (edited) can pm me where is civic centre outlet, i want buy sofa Map: http://www.streetdirectory.com/asia_travel...el_site_122946/ Civic Centre is across the road from Causeway Point in Woodlands. The furniture shop is located at level 5. I think they have a bigger showroom elsewhere. I bought my L-shape synthetic leather sofa at $500 after discount there in last Dec. It was not display set. When you go there, you can also drop by Courts at Causeway Point level 4. Courts is having sales for its sofas and electronic items now.
