Anything under $500 is going to be seriously bad and will fall apart in 6 months.

I suggest you go to Star Furniture or Courts and spend slight over 1K and get something that will last a few year.

Well Star manufactures their own bedroom sets so unlikely to find their stuff in AMK shop.

But really depends on needs, if you only need the set to last a short time the HDB stuff is old fashioned but cheap.

hmm.. I think you also have to look out for the delivery and installation fee. Many places advertise incredibly low price, but when you are there, they tell you other hidden cost. And the whole thing ends up even more expensive. To avoid making a waste trip, call up to ask for the actual prices and cost involved.

Many places sells the same thing but some places sells it higher priced, some places lower. A better way to compare price/quality would be to do a google search, and read the reviews of people who have bought it. Consumers don't lie.

A few friends and I bought mattresses, bedframes and wardrobes from www.beds.sg last year. The deliveries were prompt and service was quite good. We have recommended this site to our other friends. Pro: The site sells the similiar things as other furniture stores but at cheaper prices because they have no showroom. Con: You don't get the chance to feel and touch the things before you order them.

A few friends and I bought mattresses, bedframes and wardrobes from www.beds.sg last year. The deliveries were prompt and service was quite good. We have recommended this site to our other friends. Pro: The site sells the similiar things as other furniture stores but at cheaper prices because they have no showroom. Con: You don't get the chance to feel and touch the things before you order them.

I recently ordered my 2nd bedframe from beds.sg; it isn't the cheapest bedframe model on beds.sg. I'm disappointed about the drop of quality in their products. They use cheaper, shorter rubber legs now instead of chrome legs, so the height of my 2nd bedframe is unpleasantly too low. If I want chrome legs, I still need to top up ~$30 and arrange for 2nd appointment. Furthermore, the cushion of headboard is now thinner and I saw some Faux Leather wrapping + pins of my headboard came off on the 2nd day.

In terms of service, I find beds.sg's service satisfactory although there was few hours of delivery delay which I can still accept.

I think I rather pay more and get better quality furniture next time. Luckily I didn't order my sofa, chest of drawers and dinning table etc from beds.sg. The quality of my remaining delivered furniture from other vendors turned out well.

Don't get the low-end bedroom sets that Beds.sg and IFC are selling if you are looking at long term usage. If you are looking at temporary usage, then maybe you can consider them.

We're looking at bedroom sets cos less headache to think of how to match all furniture in the same room etc. What is considered low end? Based on price...? sorry asking a lot of qns cos me still noob le haha~ Thanks in advance~
