Hi,

I understand from some people that tiles for bathroom should use 30x30 tiles so that the water can flow properly to the drainage. However, I am considering putting 30x60 tiles. Is it alright? Anyone done it and has trouble with the water flow?

Please help!

300X600 is no diff from 300X300 in terms of tiling for drainage. But toilets usually ppl use square tiles cos more proportional to shape of toilet.

i'm using china made ones which retails between $2.20 to $3.80 psf.

Hi,

Typically to redo a MBR toilet and common toilet, what are the breakdown of the costs that need to be considered?

I have some prices that I read from the forum, not sure if they are the norm?

1) Hacking and laying of floor tiles ($6 psf? including hacking, labour and tiles @ $2.5 psf) - Around $600 for both

2) Hacking and laying of wall tiles ($6 psf? including hacking, labour and tiles @ $2.5 psf) - Around $3000 for both, so expensive!!!??

3) Waterproofing ($40 each?)

4) Shower screen ($360 each?)

5) Installation of WC ($80 each?)

6) Installation of Basin + Tap ($50 each?)

7) Installation of Water Heater ($50 each?)

8) Bifoldable door ($180 each?)

Anything i missed? And what is a good price for them?
