marsh, another method is to roll out dough into a sheet before chilling. ie

1. take a portion of dough, and put in plastic bag

2. roll to required thickness (in the bag)

3. chill

4. take out, cut plstic bag, and cut cookies

this way, cookie will still be quite "hard" and less chance for sticky or losing the shape or breaking. Try it?

nope. but i think i read somewhere before... thanks for bring this up, sounds like a good idea~

btw i tried your suggestion to make digestive biscuit crumb by putting the biscuit into plastic bag and roll with dough stick... it works like a charm :D surely i will stick to this method in future.

but it gets a bit messy when it comes to Oreo (due to the cream)... the resulting product is also not as fine as compared to digestive... i supposed it's becos Oreo is harder~? :P

ya ya, try it, should be less mess and sticky ..

oh no, marsh, if oreo, must take out the cream before crushing!! then the cream can either add to the cheese or whatever filling/topping, or just eat it on its own .. yum! I only like the centre part of the oreo :)

I guess no hard and fast rule lah, for me, crush just the biscuit easier. then can add cream back into butter or filling, still get to eat everything :D

i think i am lazy to take out the cream one by one... LOL

with or without the cream, Oreo biscuit is harder than Digestive... need more strength to break hahahaha~ :P

creative way DIY tuna sandwich by rondy

One loaf of bread (MUST BE FRESH - so that i would stick when u 'fold' it otherwise it'll 'open up' when toasting inside the oven)

One can of tuna mayo

Cut the bread as shown

bread.jpg

Next, fold it side to side as shown and toast it over oven,it would be very crispy!

fold.jpg

Note: Best to chilled the tuna and mixed your own tuna;the filling could be tuna+onion+pepper+mayo and tuna+thousand island sauce+tomatos cube.

On top of the mayo, garnish with parsley

For tomatos, can garnish with small red pepper.

done.jpg

gosh, finally found something easier for me to do this weekends....stay tune for pic if I really managed to do it :P

im puzzled how do you fold it side to side?? i dont get it.. :) perhaps im dumb.. but would someone pls demonstrate of any way to ilustrate is on picture? thx..

Marshy: The cheesecake is the one based on Newnyew's recipe but with my personal modification. Decoration wise, the previous pic of my cheesecake 2 years ago is closest to the way Newnyew's deco was done & yes its all peach in her deco as well. Except her peach slices are thinner, mine is thicker.

The mango addition was just an improvision on my part in the recent pic

wah i missed all the cake pictures here.... froggy your cakes are really

BunBun is this mango rose cake similar to the Newnyew one? :)

Hi all!

Haven't been in logged in here for a long time.

I made this dish Baked Miso Cod Fish 2 days ago and thought I would like to share it.

I have made this quite a number of times, it is easy and nice. Hope you will like it!

300g Cod Fillet

1/2 cup miso paste

1 tablespoon sugar

1 tablespoon rice wine

1/2 lemon

1. Rinse fish fillet and drain. Marinate with miso paste, sugar and rice wine for 2 hours.

2. After 2 hours, rinse marinated fish with cold water, then place onto grill rack in oven. Bake at 200 degree celsius for 15 minutes.

3. Squeeze lemon juice onto fish and serve.
