congzai 0 Report post Posted June 28, 2009 (edited) Hello everyone, My very 1st post since i registered. been lurking in this forum and i'm very envy most of you having a home of your own.Now we're sharing our joy with you! tried bi-monthly sales thrice until we're given up on the april 1/2 yearly sales. finally my fiancee n i decided to switch to resale. we both grew up in the same town, jurong west hence we're looking for units around this area. before we signed the OTP for this unit, we'd viewed almost 30units of flats , there's 1 unit that catches our heart but the owner is very firm on their asking price, we decided to let it pass.. now, back to the main topic <<虫&鸟的窝>> 5i resale in Taman Jurong,128sqm , corner unit. Totally move in condition, paid my deposit on the very night we viewed this unit, Reno needed to be done only in the MBR for the theme we wanted. the reno that the previous owner did is about 3yrs ago and most importantly, the reno suits our taste simple, spacious and cozy. 1st appt is expected to be end of Aug,2nd on end of Oct and ya, i'm surprised by the long waiting time.. take a loot at the floor plan. Original: Revised: Those red lines are walls being built , doors relocated. i think that's all for the moment, will post more pics once we get our keys. :P Edited June 28, 2009 by congzai

congzai 0 Report post Posted June 28, 2009 thanks everyone for the replies. i never notice this unit is squarish until i got the floor plan simply because moment we step into this house, it gave us a feeling that we didnt have from the other units viewed. the only thing i dun like is the pillar at the living room that is one of the main structure of this block. i believe the owner would like to get rid of it too.. if possible.. anyhow, i'd decided to make it into a display cabinet by adding some glass panels. Hi congzai, Welcome!! I have seen some blog where the owner masked up the pillar in the centre using marble block. Very nice, but expensive also.
