pbtgal 0 Report post Posted July 22, 2009 i think it is a common problem with many people... before signing, they can promise u heaven and the stars; once sign, service level drops. we have some problems too, and certain things tt we ask our id to do, or follow up... either take ages, or not done yet, tho its been weeks... just trying not to dwell on negative aspects, and think positive, cos still have a long way to go. but after the entire reno is over, feel like taking a hammer and knocking the id hard on the head and get all our grievances off our chest Ya, agree with ur sentence just trying not to dwell on negative aspects, and think positive, cos still have a long way to go. We shall stay positive till end of our projects. Hey beany0811, so gum. I know 1 forumer here using same ID firm as u and oso residing @ Bishan. She oso complain her ID (a guy) being arrogant and an empty nutshell. Juz hope for the best for all of us!!!

Juz hope for the best for all of us!!! yeah, we're trying to be more positive too. but hubby can't help harping at all those obvious flaws and errors. nowadays, we get skeptical when our ID promises something. once bitten, twice shay. we have to tell him to do feasibility study before getting back to us. it makes us wonder if they are truly ID who knows the technical aspects of renovations or just salesmen who coordinate renovation works. by the way, who is the forumer you're referring to? we can scold about our IDs together Edited July 22, 2009 by beany0811

She did not post much as she was busy at work. She is more active in the ID Firms & Services under the Ideal Design Studio thread. Ya, can share and trash out loads from our chests together. I will write a final review on my ID and some ID we have met after reno completion.

pbtgal 0 Report post Posted July 23, 2009 Hope to see your review soon, so I can don't expect too much from Lynn. Hi Takomi will share when the reno is over. However, 1 thing i muz say is hb & myself quite satisfied wif their workmanship so far and not much chasing her needed unlike some IDs/contractors need a button to be pushed. Next week will be more exciting, lightings, bathroom accessories and carpentry will be up. The rest shall keep till end of reno cos still some more days b4 HO. Anyway, have u seen her 3D drawings? takomi 0 Report post Posted July 23, 2009 She say will send it to me once ready. But I saw the 3D for kitchen and dinning area at her workplace, quite impress with the drawing except wife don't like B&W. So I request her to add some more colour to it. pbtgal 0 Report post Posted July 29, 2009 hahaha, bunk into her rented unit?! Her aircon burned down the other day leh... Don't know if she has a new one already Oh, forgot to check wif her. Hopefully ok now. Grilles @ Master bedroom: Bedroom 2 lights & grilles: Paint used is White Ice. Bedroom 3: Due to a mis-comm by myself, paint should be light blue (cant remember what's the name) but was painted white. ID will ask painter to re-paint. merryman 0 Report post Posted July 29, 2009 Oh, forgot to check wif her. Hopefully ok now. I think we will have the same grilles that time the unit I saw also had this pattern
pbtgal 0 Report post Posted July 29, 2009 Dining lights & ceiling fan: Hb commented not bright enuff. ID will help us think of a solution - to add lighting points or Cozy area: There will be some amendments needed to be done. We realised that some of the switch points were too low. For safety reason (i have a curious 3 year old boy at home), ID will ask the electrician to make adjustments. Due to a mis-comm by me, bedroom 2 was painted with the wrong colour. So far, the reno is progressing well and within schedule .
