Hey everyone. I'm using them for my home renovation. BIG SIGH! Dono where to start with my list of complaints about them.

- My renovation started in September 2009 and no sign of completion till now!

- My ID suddenly quit his company without telling us, leaving a lot of things promised undone. Lots of problems due to his sudden disappearance.

- They left my lights switched on! We dono how long it was, but the lights (normal energy saving lamps) were HOT when we touched them.

SIGH again. Will continue to list down more terrible things with this company. Don't even bother trying them.

just did a check on hdb's list of registered contractors and found that menage dzign is not listed inside.

does that mean I can strike them off my shortlist since its an offense to

"Engage a non-HDB Registered Renovation Contractor to carry out the work and/or breach HDB's renovation rules/guidelines. "

as quoted from Renovation Control Rules 2006

i think there was thread elsewhere where the above was discussed.

The HDB License is only for the CONTRACTOR carrying out the works and NOT the ID carrying out the works.

Just ensure that the ID engages a CONTRACTOR who is registered with HDB.

In short, you have to differentiate between and ID and CONTRACTOR. Gd luck!
