But we want to keep the existing flooring and the cabinet base... Worry that the con will damage the flooring... when hacking and tiling the walls.. How abt piping.. need to re-do? Tks. Best is to change the whole piping, as u didn't know the condition of the old piping. Don't get yourself into more troubles if the piping choke after the reno had done up. For me, mine is resale 5-7 year old flat but the kitchen cabinet too sayang to hack, I also got budget so I'm changing the table top and sink, tap, stove for a newer look.
