wtc 0 Report post Posted June 17, 2009 Hi, is it common to have L-box in the bedroom? I want to install ceiling fan in bedroom but the ones I like from KDK does not come with lighting. So, wandering if it's common to do L-box in the bedroom. Will the light heat up the room? Thanks!

Thanks! hi wtc, juz my two cents worth, i guess it's quite common to have L-box in bedroom, but it could be L-shaped, not square-shaped. L-box can be used to cover the possibly unsightly hooks and rod for the curtains, and also for installing downlights..so depending on the type of lights u wan in ur bedroom. shd consider practicality, else waste electricity.. btw, ceiling fan shdnt be too low, if u believe in fengshui, as it may cause "stress"... Is L-box expensive? I don't like AC, prefers fan ... currently using those free standing unit but they are not very nice to look at .... so thinking of using ceiling fan and I am not into fengshui, so I guess it's ok ..
