skymars 0 Report post Posted September 1, 2009 (edited) Tks littleones, the photo is v helpful and ur place looks fabulous! oh btw the floorplan is juz a guide, mainly to visualise the layour n space...so i m not so fortunate to have a bathtub hi takomi, it will be a sliding door wardrobe..and the distance from bed is abt 50cm..guess should be ok ba.. ha..its my wife who insisted on a bigger toilet n bedroom..hence the extention to toilet n mbr so far reno is on schedule, things i have bought will be aircon, lightings, sofa and mbr bed...hope everything will run smoothly more pict should come this week after my tiles n aircon are up Edited September 1, 2009 by skymars Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

skymars 0 Report post Posted September 30, 2009 think my reno so far has been quite smooth. along the way, made some changes n comments to quality of work..n contractor was able to react n made necessary adjustments to match our requirements. though demands are not always met 100%..i tink i m still reasonably happy with progress so far.. currently i m only waiting for the cable to make such changes in the way the wire cables are run..as i do not have false ceilings or cornice, i m more particular in the positioning of the cables..n left all the remnants of carpentry, painting n touch up...hope my hse should be ready by next week n only need to wait for my furnitures to come in btw as mentioned in my opening posting about the IDs that i have shortlisted, i tink this is a gd time to reveal....hee...like lucky draw..the companies i have shortlisted will be ideal hse (Max), RCID (richard) and YHL (Zann Loo) so in the end i chose Zann..for her responsiveness, fine ideas and quote tat meet budget . so far so gd..if i m happy with the final carpentry product...than i supposed i can recommend her to everyone here. wish me luck! skymars 0 Report post Posted October 5, 2009 juz a quick update..this could be my last week of reno!! so far, mistakes or changes i requested to my contractors are...wardrobe door colour wrong (colour change for me, no qn ask)...laying of cables n power point not to my liking (change to suit my liking)...light damage(lighting guy going to bring the light to the shop to change for me)..toilet bowl had a hairline crack discovered by my contractor (contractor got the shop to change a new one)...modification of bedroom door done for me... tats all for now...will update with pic soon Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
