Furniture Shops/warehouses/wholesalers In East Side

Hi

I am planning to buy few items (like sofa, dining table, bedframe, study units etc.) for my new flat. I read in the forum about Sungei Kadut area where lots of good furniture warehouses are available which offers good price. But since I stay in the east side (in bedok), its really quite far off for me (I dont have my own transport).

Does anyone know about good & affordable furniture areas/warehouses etc in and around the east/central side? Just hoping if something similar is also available in the east as well.
