Angel81 1 Report post Posted June 9, 2009 Hopefully it will be better with the polycarbonate roof and the 5 blades fan i will be installing. Also of thinking to do 3m solar film for all the windows. Pending for Serene from Jestar to reply for the quotations..... Er the house is actually quite small, but i think good enough for 3 of us (wife and daughter) Hee, 3pax don't need a huge space. And a cozy place will mean lesser housework! Yah, think the solar film will be good. Reduce heat in the house and save electricity from air con usage. Reduce heat in the house and save electricity from air con usage. Yup, no maids, so have to keep it small...the whole place without the balcony and roof terrace is like a 4 room type "S". Will get some tower fans to reduce the usage of the aircon....

ilmare612 0 Report post Posted June 9, 2009 Hi Kartell, welcome! I loved the area. I have been staying at this area for decades. Just shifted out last month to get married. hahaha. My folks are still there. I still visit them every week. You will love the area. Quiet, clean and pleasant...except for the slight traffic issue in the morning peak hours

Quiet, clean and pleasant...except for the slight traffic issue in the morning peak hours Thanks, yup noticed the single lane road and lots of cars during peak hours! But lucky is not as noisy as my apartment is facing NUS and not westcoast highway

Kartell 0 Report post Posted June 10, 2009 that's a nice place u have got here and the acrylic top must have cost a bomb...its embedded with small pebbles right? how much does it cost? I think this acrylic top is recommended by Miker Koon from Renozone, er is still cheaper than solid top or the gritter glass. I think around 700 bucks if i not wrong. You might want to check with him as he has lots of samples and variety like dry flowers, dry leaves. soy beans...etc embedded cheers

Yup the kitchen is super small and tiny, but both of us seldom cook, except occasionally instant noodles.....so still can live with it!
