miulicious 0 Report post Posted July 13, 2009 How is funiture price in GZ? I am thinking go to Bali actually Would you mind to PM me your freight forwarder contact? Thanks! Hi Kellogs I have the SG office and the GZ office contact. It takes roughly 7 days for the shipment to arrive in SG. Those BIG furniture centres in GZ also carry those tropical furnitures in teak or cane. Even those neo classical and opulent style furnitures. Lightings and accessories. You wanna custom make anything also can! In China, anything is possible!

But, I think no problem. You should check out the taps also. I have intention to get some lightings from China also. But I need to check whether those electrical switch(2 gang 3 gang thingy) can be fix a not also. Edited July 16, 2009 by red_devil
miulicious 0 Report post Posted July 25, 2009 The lighting in china is 2 wires. For Sillypore is 3 wires...so need to check in GZ whether can fix a not.. But, I think no problem. You should check out the taps also. I have intention to get some lightings from China also. But I need to check whether those electrical switch(2 gang 3 gang thingy) can be fix a not also. I have check with my ID...he say the 3rd wire is the earth wire. SHouldn't be a prob with the installation. I bought my MBR light for RMB 300 over there and I saw this shop in Balestier selling something similiar for like SG 380!! I shld have bought my down lights and toilet lights there too. But my hand luggage full of lights le. I bought my toilet ceiling light X 2, toilet mirror light X 2, 4 downlight back here already SGD 200+. I bought like wall light X 4 , bedroom light X 2 for less than RMB 1000 back in GZ. If you intend to buy chandelier, I think there got more choices and def much more cheaper than in SG. I saw the light switches in GZ..... but I think its slightly cheaper than SG only...and their 13A plug is not the same as in sg. At 1st I also tot of buying Clipsal switches over there but sianz leh...must get the 13A back here. So in the end I just buy everything from Choo Chiang. But they carry Panasonic switches in china and a few other brand which I can't rem. If you do not wanna go till the furn mall which is the outskirt just go to 大南路。 The lighting shops are all there. And the shopping street is just nearby, so ur wifey can go shop then u go light shopping. Bear in mind those lighting shops close early......ard 6-6:30pm. Hope this info helps. miulicious 0 Report post Posted July 25, 2009 3 pics that I got from the mall. It's Suzhou embroidery that's why it looks more 3D than printed vases. At 1st I hesitated cos of the price, in the end I call the gallery to deliver it to the freight forwarder. So it's gonna adorn the hallway. Heh
