wtc 0 Report post Posted May 29, 2009 Hi! I will be getting my new place (HDB resale 3A) sometime in late aug or mid sept, when should I start buying things like WC, toilet sinks and AC? hihihi 0 Report post Posted May 29, 2009 1) toilet(WC, basin, tap) + kitchen(tap, sink, hob, hood) buy after getting keys or getting renovator. After u have a feel of the dimension u need, design, colour proposed. Toilet stuff will be needed during tiling and kitchen stuff needed during cabinet installation. 2) aircon buy after tiling, before or after painting. before painting = so that pipes get painted too. after painting = so that wall behind A/C gets painted too. Some asked for 2x painting aka "touch-up" to paint the pipes. 3) toilet and kitchen accessories. after tiling, anytime. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
ivy 0 Report post Posted May 30, 2009 no need to buy too early. like hihihi said, it'll be good if you can find your contractor/ID first, cos some ID packages include free gifts like hood hob etc. having said that now is GSS, you can go window shopping and see whether anywhere having super good deals that you can ride on.
