BunBun 5 Report post Posted August 13, 2009 Hmm, not everything are perfect in reality and minor imperfections are ok since not obvious to the eyes. I must say you and your husband has been bearing very well with the inconvenience throughout all. Don't lose heart also since everything will turn out well 'cos I see from the pics alot of things have been done decently despite some problems. Your barcelona chairs look cosy~! Any matching side tables to go with them?
Reiki 0 Report post Posted August 13, 2009 (edited) I believe a 'box-up' with tiles is possible to hide the pipe without hacking. The tiler just have to neatly line the tiles to conceal it. Though, it may end up looking rather bulky, it would achieve your objective to conceal things in your house. Err, in my opinion, the end of the water pipe should bend to follow the contour of the tile. Most aircon pipes end at the drainage. I find it rather weird that yours abruptly end that way. Water dripping out of the pipe, when the aircon is switched on and particularly at night, can cause some noise if your hearing is sensitive. Sorlie to give you headache hor, new. BunBun 5 Report post Posted August 13, 2009 Sounds good to me. I think a happy partnership is still possible provided that a compromise is reached. Have you read Dale Carneige books? (I know this is corny the next sentence) When the morale is low, find positive attributes to increase the morale. Morale, Motivation are the main basic communication pointers. No one likes to point fingers and it can be very depressing for you too. Just take things easy with a pinch of salt because 10 years later you can look back and laugh the mistakes, experiences off 'cause a lot of things will change in a span of decade. BunBun, thanks for the kind words. I will be getting someone to customise a mirror coffee table but this will go with my chesterfield sofas which will arrive in mid september. These 2 barcelona chairs will be placed inside the room as study chairs
Rasp 0 Report post Posted August 13, 2009 Hi Newnyew, Good to see you back. Welcome back!! I also like your barcelona chairs. Red cushion with white legs. Me and hb also shifted out and staying outside now for our reno. And like you, we hope everything can be done in time, so I think I understand your frustration about the delays. Have you shifted back to your house? Those hanging wire look quite dangerous. Must be careful when handling them. Maybe can consider turning off the mains when you two go for work. Carpentry can slowly do up, but the electrical work must ask that guy to finish up as its dangerous. Hope everything will go smoothly for you.
