Aircon - Extra Blower Unit

Recommended Posts

Dear all,

I recently bought a Toshiba system 3 Inverter AC but realised, after installation, that I only need 2 units! I initially installed 3 units for my flat because I had hacked down the walls to combine 2 rooms to become 1 bedroom and my contractor said that I need to install 2 blowers in this larger-sized bedroom. It turns out that 1 blower is strong enough to cool down the entire room and we have been using only 1 blower everynight. (The 3rd blower is in the kid's bedroom)

I wonder if anyone else faces the same problem; I now have 1 extra blower and am wondering what are my available options? Should I sell it away (Is it even possible to sell 1 unit?) or reposition it to the living room? (thus incurring more costs for trunking, etc.)

Would appreciate your inputs on this, thanks! :)

Placing the additional unit at the living may not be feasible unless it's 18k BTU and above. Has the air cons been installed specifically the blowers and compressor?

Yup, all 3 blowers as well as compressor have been installed. If repositioning is not an option, what's feasible then?
