Need some ideas for parents' living room.

Thinking of getting rid of everything in the living room except for the items indicated as 'ex' (existing) in the attached. Sofa etc are like 20-30 years old.....:P

Any comments on how to arrange the stuff. My cannot-make-it efforts in the links below....

Ignore all height specifications.....measurements of 'new' items are made-up too......
