I'm thinking of laminating my main door instead of painting it ... the plan is to strip down the old layers of paint and remove the decorative trimmings before putting on laminate of our choice. For a good bond, you always remove any existing laminate. by comparison, stickers are much cheaper and personally, I'm tempted to use that to lower the cost of some of the stuff that I'm doing.
