Hack Away Undermount Sink And Replace With Top Mount?

oh uncle said to undermount with granite must bring it to the factory, top up $120 and get machine to do the cut out cos its hard for them to do by hand, edges not smooth, hard to curve it to my sink.

we will see how it goes later.

New sink bigger than the old one and smaller hob than than old one.

i would like to check, is there only one way of undermounting the sink? similar to the one posted by jtec14

whereby the silicon is seen....

or is there another way of undermounting..
