MaCe 3 Report post Posted November 22, 2007 Yes... I agree with MaCeMy house right now in the midst of reno. We did add on some items which not dicussed in the beginning. And my hubby and I are very eager to see his revised quote (We are worried that it may exceed our budget). But he told us not to worry lah ... will still remain the same. He is not those calculative person but he is very very busy soemtimes got to remind himon the changes we have made. We should give n take on this isn't it Anyway, i am also a very easy going person !!tell you whats next - you(customer) gonna CHASE him(contractor) for payment... As in once he confirm a schedule will he keep to it?How do you all normally proceed to get Ho Bee? You get quote , sign the contract then bring him to the flat or you bring him to flat, get final quote, then sign contract?-celesthe sorts of belongs to the old generation contractors. phones are forever deemed as plain enquiries, not biz.most contractors dont even want to entertain you on the phone - when they meet you in the house and quote you, only then they consider this deal got chance.fastest way to engage hobee is to arrange for him to meetup in your house and you will receive your quotation in a few days time. but now he really kinda super busy...talk on phone also no time. FifiGal 0 Report post Posted November 29, 2007 hi simeiz, need to give him some time cos he is rushing for projects to be completed before CNY. even for my case, we waited for almost a month. his wife was telling me he so tied up that he can only quote me while he is oversea.I also waited one month liao. Both Patrick and Ah Keong have come to see my kitchen and measure. And I call Mrs Quek until both of us pai-seh liao. But she say Patrick is REALLY busy and maybe I shud give up waiting for him ( becos I said that if he really no time to do mine, I have to find someone else quickly). I hv also called Patrick n Ah Keong direct - he said will check n get back to me. But if they really cannot take any more jobs, why bother to visit for measurements then.
