Floor Restoration

Recommended Posts

Hi! has anyone tried restoring/polishing Terrazzo flooring?

I am currently hunting for resale flat and saw lots of the flooring is terrazzo, want to know if it could be restored, trying to minimize the reno cost by not hacking the floor.

Thanks!

Looking for good contractors? Click here for your request

My contractor polished my living room terrazzo flooring.

If the condition is good, can just polish it to restore the shinning surface.

Not to sure abt restoring.

Hi wtc, $420 for living room, it is a dry-polish... I heard that wet-polish costs more but can do more work like smoothen tiny crack lines.

Have you thought of overlaying with other flooring instead of hacking it up?

Laminate overlay can be very cost effective and it provides a new look , unless you don't mind the current look.
