ling3bzr 0 Report post Posted July 6, 2009 yeayea, i tink it will look like, if not same as urwhiteresidence. The tile is $2.20 psf i think... we are gettin a headache over toilet tiles.. cuz initial idea is to get a darker tile for flooring.but it seems so hard to find matching tiles as my hubby doesnt really fancy white wall tiles. we initially chose a lighter grey for wall tiles.. but after bring the sample home, scared look abit dark PLUS, it's more ex! only allowed to choose up to $2.40psf tiles. The ones we took home are $2.70 - $3.00! we need to be more focused!!!

Cuz my hubby kept insisting is done aft whole house renovated. i spoke to PJ, and she has given me alot of input but tot maybe i shld ask abt it "openly" here to get more ideas on how to go abit doing it.. painting is normally done before carpentry and aircon is up (but aircon trunking must be up, so that you can paint the trunking). so that there's lesser obstructions around, and also, we are able to pint those walls where the built in aircon and carpentry will be painting after can also be done. Just that when painting, you must make sure you cover the carpentry and furnishing well, incase any paint drips on them. Years down the road, people will change house colour, so not an issue, just that nmore troublesome. False ceiling can just be painted as well. My last house, we did our own painting. Told the contractor give us 3 days to paint the house before they install the aircon and carpentry. hope this helps.
