I intend to do shelvings like the one shown.

Has anyone done it before? & how long was it?

Will it sag after sometime even if its solid wood?

Hi newnyew, the shelving can goes as long as u want it to be unless there is a beam wall. It will not sag at all but try not to use 2cm solid wood (at least 4cm).

Not pro la, that day ur hubby asked bout it, I happen to saw my carpenter as they are doing up a new shop nearby while I was doing marketing (every 2-3 days need to go market, haiz daily life of a house husband).

They told me how they made this type of shelving.

Aiya, that day u came I should have pass u some of the Home & Decor magazines so u can get some good ideas or design.

Now only left 2 cos the other forumer took 6 magazines back with them already.

Good Luck When she told me how it was done, I was like oh...ya hor...I've seen it before, those floating steps with metal rods inside that insert into the wall..
