I received a number of PM asking me for the ID's contact. I have not replied due to a few reasons:

- I am sharing the renovation experience, not promoting my ID

- The work has not completed yet. Until everything is done then we could conclude if he has done a good/bad job

- He only takes on three projects at one go. Currently he already has three projects on hand and will not be taking any additional work.

I look forward to your understanding on this matter. There are many ID/contractors here that are well recommended that you could contact.

Common toilet is basically using green and white tiles, with mosaic separating the two. The shower screen, shower head, instant water heat and other toilet accessories will only be installed next Friday (24 Jul 2009) because the goods will only be delivered on 23 Jul 2009.

After the wet work, suddenly the progress of our reno gets on really quickly. We just chose the colours of the paint on Sunday and when we dropped by on Tuesday, most of the painting has completed (except for kitchen, yet to decide on solid top / granite). And today (Thursday) Supreme will install the laminate for the three bedrooms.

Here's a picture of the master bedroom. The small window on the left will allow us to watch fireworks on National Day.

I find the switches very ugly. Fortunately ID has agreed to change them to the big ones, at no cost, of course :-).

The living area - at the time I was taking the picture, there was this guy here cleaning the house. By the time I am done, the place is free of debris. The colour of the wall is Nippon 5000 Creamy White.

Bedroom 2 aka Study Room. This room is painted Iris White (looks like blue) for FengShui. Both my two kids and myself have water element, and the blue (including ceiling) will make them do better in school.

Every time I am there I can't help not taking some pictures of the breath-taking view. Here's how it looked like on Tuesday - a little hazy - from Bedroom 2.

A closer look at Iris White - looks more blue, right?

The place where the cable is hanging is where we are going to have lights. My two kids and myself will have individual study lights.

Gas pipe in kitchen. This is causing us (including ID and carpenter) big headache. Got to move the cabinet out 2 inches to accommodate it.

After spending two weeks we still could not find the green that we want for the solid surface. We have now given up and decided to do granite instead. Here's how our kitchen cabinet will look like - snow white laminate cabinet with black galaxy granite.

what shade of green did you want for the solid surface? I'm looking at the bellus catalogue and they have two shades. I don't really like green lah, but you may find that they're what you need? (just trying to help =p )
