Initially was thinking of getting the Rinai three inner-flame model. That's even more expensive at $1,180.

But eventually settled on the Bellari one because of the service: Bellari offers a service where the service personnel will come down to your house once a year to check and clean your hood and hob, and replace any parts that are faulty or dirty. All for $50 per visit.

I think anybody will appreciate a sparkling clean hood and hob.

Thanks. Our basin area is quite small, we wanted a basin which is very deep so the chance of water getting to the floor is lower.

Because of the square basins in the kitchen we are also choosing square basins for our two bathrooms (porcelin type).

maybe can think of under-mounting the sink as well? if your kitchen top is quite thick, that increases the effective depth of your sink doesn't it? I was thinking of that method for my not-so-deep sink =p

That is a very good idea stormcontrol. Will discuss with ID this Thursday.

The view from the balcony without the grilles and window panes is stunning:

It was taken on Tuesday when it was raining. But Singapore has been quite misty lately too.

the flame for the hob looks stylo. and the sink so chio!!!

Yes, I think the flame is quite fascinating - goes around like a tornado, hence the name.

the view is part of the reason why i'm resisting all my relatives' advice of installing grilles over at my place too. Super chio view you have there sohck!

Same problem here. My mum pressurizing us on the grilles, but we have been resisting. Not sure who will win at the end, though :-(
