sohck 0 Report post Posted June 27, 2009 Meeting the ID later at 11am to check the progress and also to make second payment for 40%. Wife and I both lazy so we leave everything to the ID. So far only went down to the house - but that's requested by the ID to confirm the tiling work.
sohck 0 Report post Posted June 29, 2009 Went up to the flat to meet the ID to discuss on how we could lengthen the kitchen cabinet a little bit. Took some pictures which follow.
sohck 0 Report post Posted June 29, 2009 Master bedroom toilet wall - half done. Our MBR toilet will be black and white tiles with square mosaics in between [separating the black and white tiles]. The mosaics are not there yet so the wall looks a little funny now.
sohck 0 Report post Posted June 29, 2009 The master tiler was laying the kitchen floor tiles when we arrived in the morning just before 11am.
sohck 0 Report post Posted June 29, 2009 Common bathroom's wall tiles are also half-done. We can see that the master tiler is very skillful. He has laid all the big tiles leaving the space for the mosaic. If his measurement is not accurate, the mosaic will not fit properly and that will mean he needs to hack and relay everything. sohck 0 Report post Posted June 29, 2009 The drainage for the kitchen basin. Poor guy, we need to shift this one foot to the left and extend 10 cm to the right to make way for a longer kitchen cabinet.
