Jamieogh 0 Report post Posted October 23, 2009 (edited) Hi Charemme, Of course I rem you! I was the one who approached you in the first place wor Hi JandG, Ya... Hubby Kiwi wants the kitchen to be darker & the living room to be in all white! Dark+Bright! I like your sink! Not going to have "island" kitchen cabinet. Will do the common inner L-shape one. But our contractor still charge us the same price - $2100 (19ft including box up the pipes). Is it reasonable? Suppose to upload some photos tonight. But I'm not going to his place tonight, the photos are with him. Will upload tomorrow *Promise* 在此我要感谢 威廉先生伉俪 & Mr. Lim HP 在私底下的无私分享他们的经验及知识。 感激感激~ Edited October 23, 2009 by Jamieogh

My hubby got took picture of it, looks urgh... Will upload this Fri night. Hi Jamie, Thank you so much for sharing the well taken photo of the cement screen wall for kitchen... Just my truth comments... it depends on what colours theme is your kitchen, if black and White then sure no problem and will be nice, but if you go for colourful theme like yellow, orange or red...may look abit funny. The kitchen cabinets portion where the exposed wall existing, are you going to have just cement screen? or you are covering with tempered glass or stainless steel...my concern is that if exposed wall is left with cement screen will it be very different to maintain (Oil stain) I don't think you should paint over it else you defeat the purpose of keeping the wall "Cemented" It is subjective, but if you and your hubby will to like it then that will be the most important factor...
