kthc 0 Report post Posted June 11, 2009 Welcome to Sembawang. Urs is the pink blocks of flats? Looks like u got a major renovation to go. U have to chase HDB contractors always or else they take their own sweet time. Been living in Wellington Circle, now 'upgrading' to a step 'nearer' to district 10 Now only need to walk 5 mins instead of 10mins to MRT. May need them to check the household shelter door, abit spoilt, not sure if they'll repair it. kthc: wah. the kitchen power leh. i will be wearing sunglasses if i were to cook there the artwork reminds me of the condition of my new house when bought. also a lot of drawings. dunno why parents allow their kids to draw. if i have kids and my kids draw like tat, i will make he or she make sure it is clean again. Got lots more in the other rooms.... alot more....

kthc 0 Report post Posted June 15, 2009 Lots of hacking and work should have started this morning. Now looking for some lobangs for: 1. Wallpaper - Only heard of Goodrich & Europa (any good sales person) or other brands 2. Solar film – Only read about Sun-X and Coolnlite, others and where to get them? 3. Windows + Gate – got a contact from Tulip, just looking for one more (occupational hazard of working in the civil sector, need 3 quotes to be comfortable...) 4. Curtains – Gotten from Golden Leaf, as above, another one or 2 more to be comfortable. Anyone with recommendations?

kthc 0 Report post Posted June 17, 2009 Can't wait to see the tiles when its laid. Visit LSH & Hafary 3 times each... then finally settle on very simple colors.... don't want to be too adventurous (maybe signs of ageing...). Current home used bright orange for the cabinets, this time, going to take the conventional colors:)
