Does anyone know what is included in the acid/general wash by the contractor after renovation?

I am thinking of hiring cleaning services, but not sure if it is redundant since acid/general wash is included in the reno package.

the acid wash involves using chemicals to wash all those work areas i.e usually only those areas that are being renovated by your ID or contractor.
