Gaku, I think you have no choice but to ask Jason who will be doing the carpentry for you! my preogress speeds up suddenly. keeping my fingers crossed on the whole thing. Cheer up ok? It's friday. bear with it for a while more and it will soon be over!

I am prepared to go lay the floors with Hubby on Sunday if it is still not done. booy and smartie did that. Ask them to give you a schedule, elect works and plumbing can go on concurrently. If you are doing false ceilings, ask if they can also be done together. this will minimise lotsa time wastage.

Uncle has limited good workers and they are over stretched. I can tell uncle to stop mine for a few days if need be, provided if we are using the came batch of workers.

I am not able to lay the mat due to the rubbish and tiles but if your rubbish is cleared, I think you should be able to do it yourself. Guess it is not too difficult. Remember to ask them to clear the rubbish today. Uncle brother is at my place now. Do you want to call uncle to get his brother to clear your place since he is here.

End of week 1: Must meet Jason on carpentry.

Week 2: Piping, Electrical and carpentry.

That is why based on the reno work, uncle initially told me he needed only 3 weeks but abit tight. So I gave him another week buffer since my current flat handover is on 1st June. Now I am into the end of Week 3.

I saw the false ceiling boards on the floor but L-box was up on tuesday. After that no more progress. Not sure if Jason understand the drawing I gave him. This few evenings I could not check because there is no light. Probably will check tomorrow morning.

Please do not ask uncle to stop your reno. I will feel very bad if you do. I have made the decision to use uncle's service and should accept the consequences.

I can understand if the workers are overstretched and I can accept schedule to be push back a few days. But I could not take empty promises that I received almost everyday like this week.

So how long u intend to rent the new place for?where do u stay?

If u dun mind...i can let u have my house to stay for free...provided u dun mind the conidition lor...since it empty also.. Sure PD wont really mind too...

Carpentry fabricaton completion. The assembly will be only one day or two. That is after painting.

since we r living quite near to each other, will it be more convenient for u? let me know ya? we wont be shifting in so soon also

As the rental place is in the same block and is currently empty, I would negotiate to shift in my stuff bit by bit everyday as I don't have to hire movers.

Confirmed with him on the piping and he told me the guys just came. Uncle brother is also clearing the rubbish in the background. Have you call him on the rubbish?

Next time must call uncle to get things moving.

Thanks for the offer. I am grateful many of the folks here are very helpful.

For storage it is not too big a problem. Uncle has told me that 3 bedrooms will be ready except carpentry. So I can store those not important stuff there.

Yes he is. But you got to be fast because I think he was just there to instruct the aircon guy on the trunking. Don't think he will be there for long.

Anyway my house just collecting dust to start reno...Gaku need a plc(to save cost also)...y not?
