pinkpetter 0 Report post Posted April 28, 2009 hehe maybe you can give us some info so that we can help? Like how many people living in it? Young or old? are they able to share rooms? Is there a need for study rooms? Heavy cooking or not? Any pets? hehe

Ba0bEi 0 Report post Posted April 29, 2009 Hi All, I'll post on behalf of my hubby.. 1st of all, thanks for all the warm welcome! We intend to knock the service balcony to kind of "open" it up. Common toilet - seal up the opening and open at the other side which is facing the service balcony. Do plastering for the whole house. Hack off the all kitchen cabinets, and we only want to do bottom cabinet. Hack off 2 toilet wall tiles and kitchen tiles. Maybe I try to draw on the floor plan better.. Angel81 1 Report post Posted April 29, 2009 (edited) Congrates on ur new home! I like ur layout. Very easy to plan with all the nice squares/rectangles. Hee, I'll love to have a service balcony. It'll be great to knock down the store to make the kitchen bigger, and build more storage cabinets in the service balcony to store all the barang barang. *Alamak, just re-read ur post, and realized that u intend to knock down the service balcony. Hee, think ur kitchen will be much brighter this way. * Edited April 29, 2009 by Angel81
mrspiglet 2 Report post Posted April 29, 2009 Congrats YaOz, Ba0bEi! Coincidentally, we have a similar floorplan! Chging the common toilet opening is better for hygiene and space planning. Can now put the fridge at the original opening of the toilet. But do u cook often? Ur store room takes up quite a bit of space in ur kitchen, u may wanna consider top cabinets in case next time not enough storage space?
