hi.

are there going to be doors for your mbr and study room? cos from the layout plan earlier, it seems they are door-less (with 1 sliding door, i think) while your latest pics has a door frame in the mbr.

Hmm i think the floorplan which you saw earlier on was the one we 'amended' by ourselves..we kinda forgot to add in the doors :P

but yep, there will be doors for all the rooms.. not sliding ones though.

Everything looking good .

Thanks! Hope it all turns out great... :D

Your in-laws very resourceful, can find such good lobang for you. Recently, I am thinking if we should use the cut out granite top (hole for the kitchen sink & hob) to make into side tables etc. But I don't know if they will look good and if the cost can be justify. Hasn't really research on it yet. Got lobang for that?

oOo.... no such lobang for that, but if i'm not mistaken, to attach the granite top (or marble) to covnert it into a dining / side tables it may cost a fair bit 'cos of the labour and materials required for the 'legs' as well as mounting the granite/marble onto wooden boards and attaching them to the 'legs' as you cant mount them directly.. this applies to our dining table, so i'm guessing it would be the same for ya side table...

i may be wrong though, depending on your ID.. try bargaining with him/her hehe :P

considered using those for other purposes like... granite shelving in ya toilets or rooms?

Ummm.. we still thinking about it. Just thought that abit wasteful to throw those cut-outs. But it seems like the cost of doing the table up also not cheap.

hehe yea... try negotiating a little with ya ID, sometimes they may have some spare 'materials' around that can be used or something...otherwise the next best thing i can think of is to use it for some simple shelving in the toilet or something ...

Nice table legs!!! Made of stainless steel? How much it costs?

wah your ID give that to you foc huh? not cheap rite

Thanks! Yep it is stainless steel..price wise we didn't really ask because the legs were actually left by one of Ray's previous customer. Apparently they had bought these legs, but it didn't suit their requirements, so they gave it to Ray and it's been sitting around in his office ever since

Just so happens Ray felt it would go well with our overall theme and the dining table top, (plus we've been such nice customers) :P he was happy to give it to us FOC :sport-smiley-004:
