Hey Bon

Do you like this drawings, we gave this ideas to our ID and here is the wall feature. We didnt go ahead due to budget constraints

I quite like tat you have display shelvings at the feature wall. I have also asked the ID to incorporate it in for me to see but my wife says it contradicts my requirement of sleek and clean lines. anyway, i think the display shelving shld be a little bit longer with different lengths OR maybe add one more on the other side, such that there is 2 on left and 1 on right to compliment the assymetrical look of the feature wall. its look a bit cluttered on the left and empty on right.

and the tv is not wall mounted?

What is the beige colour area? paint or wall paper?

thanks hehee!!

The initial design for mine looks like this, sorry ahh no high tech 3D cos i use contractor.

DSC00094-1.jpg

The center piece suppose to be more 3 dimensional suppose to pop out and it's suppose to be 5 ft not 4ft as indicated. On the left side where my carpenter draw the stick like thingy i want to change to plain white laminate with metal strips. That part is a tic tac door for me to keep CD. The other side is tinted black mirror. If your second draft have the tinted mirror flanking the feature wall, maybe it'll look something like that too?

I think somehow yours looks neater, or is it bcos of poor hand drawn drawings??

i think it is not because of poor hand drawing. In fact i think the drawing is very good considered that it's hand drawn! yours included dimensions and written details tats why more messy. but look beyond tat, and it is very good. u can use my 3d drawing to show ur contractor to further elaborate/illustrate wat u want or enhance to ur liking since its quite similar.

and maybe mine more symmetrical as my ID knows i quite old-fashioned kind, like symmetrical design. but urs is asymemetrical. tats why give feeling tat it is messy. but i am sure it will be. ;)

My second draft is not like tat actually. the centre portion is full ht and juts out with cove light on both sides and tinted mirrors on both side..

hehe, for that size i would say wallpaper price is quite ok la.

i charged lesser but u must also consider the time factor.

wallpaper they can install in less than an hour.

if i were to go and paint, it might take a few days.

so u must take all these into consideration lor :)

haha seems like im killing my pocket $$ but truth is, wallpaper is more worth it la.
