rolexboy 0 Report post Posted April 22, 2009 After much follow up and discussion with 3 different renovation firms, I decided to sign with Ideal, Kenneth. His quote is the middle one, not the most ex, nor the cheapest. Like his frank opinion, good ideas, availability for discussion and also being able to meet my budget. I’m setting aside ~18k for simple renovation for 5rm unit in the north. Not and no intention of taking any loan from bank, thus, totally committed to simple, nice and neat design. Unit is 13 years old, but previous owner din really move into the place… renovation was done halfway… Condition is as good as new.. Currently, renovation is in the final stage, and I’m expecting HO by month-end. Most of the stuffs are up, except toilets and touch up… Finally got the time to post the pictures…. View of the floor plan collected keys on the last day of last year. Din wanna rush the renovation. Thus, took about 1month plus before we decided on the ID This for HengHeng, Gong Xi Fatt Choy during CNY Main living area/room View from the window This is where my divider and TV area will be
rolexboy 0 Report post Posted April 22, 2009 towards my rooms that wall gotta go, conbine MRB and common room.. next, let’s look at the kitchen… previous owners have built the concrete basin support halfway… due to budget constraint, we decided to keep and install doors for the concrete support. Hope this wont turn out to be our biggest regret…. full pic on the concrete support…country side style… (quite a eye sore initially)
rolexboy 0 Report post Posted April 22, 2009 half done stove base… service balcony lastly, a view from outside…. Kinda worry if our neighbor will conquer our area and turn it into a forest….. But we kinda accepted the plants… but hope they will “automatically” remove the bicycle when we move in….
mrspiglet 2 Report post Posted April 22, 2009 congrats! what's the reno plan like? I think ur concrete support still looks, not really super old fashion type.
familyof4 0 Report post Posted April 22, 2009 that's alot of plants! I think by renovation time, the workers moving in and out, they will remove the bicycle by themselves The place looks bright! Combining the rooms gives you more space...planning for WIW?
