oohaahcantona10 0 Report post Posted April 22, 2009 Hi there, I understand that Chi Ho's one of the bosses now? Mine's Arlene Lim, while her partner assigned to oversee the site/work progress was Raymond. I can't thank them enough for the wonderful job done. Yeah, it's best to contact the ID direct, as opposed to going thru' the ID firm and pretty much leaving it to fate as to the eventual ID assigned. Different IDs under the same firm can turn out to have vastly contrasting modus operandi, for better or worse. Thanks! So concident that we are using the same ID firm! My ID is Chiho, how abt yours? pinkpetter 0 Report post Posted April 22, 2009 (edited) *gasps* And I thought my banner is more "toned down" now. I shall try harder to make it more subtle. I love the way you planned your MBR! It's perfect! I'd rather go for the Manhattan theme of dark hues and clean lines as well but the romantic colour gives a cosy feel to the room. The colours used for the study separates work from rest/play. haha Very nice indeed. Congratulations. When are you guys moving in? *sidetrack = I did an utterly brainless thing when I read your post... I opened a new window and carefully typed out my URL in the address bar instead of right-clicking my own signature. *slaps head* Edited April 22, 2009 by pinkpetter
milo66 0 Report post Posted April 22, 2009 Yup, i heard that Chiho is now one of the bosses. Nonetheless he is still as humble and nice as before Cant agree more! Different ID from the same firm can give you totally different design! Your hse is really nice! Love your feature wall Hi there, I understand that Chi Ho's one of the bosses now? oohaahcantona10 0 Report post Posted April 22, 2009 As promised, here's the curtain contact : Shop 8 renovation and Decoration Katong Shopping Centre #02-79 Give Frankie (90094787) a buzz if you would like to check them out. Alternatively, think can always ask Chi Ho to arrange for Frankie to swing by ***** to show you some samples (the guy does curtains for quite a few ***** projects I believe). oohaahcantona10 0 Report post Posted April 22, 2009 Now you've piqued my interest to see those versions prior to current subtlety...but I digress... I should be moving in during the Labour Day weekend; wife hasn't really decided (we had our Solemnisation in Jan, but customary's not until Oct). Hence, chances are I will move in a good few weeks before her. *gasps* And I thought my banner is more "toned down" now. I shall try harder to make it more subtle. oohaahcantona10 0 Report post Posted April 23, 2009 Can't remember the exact breakdown, but everything in (roman blinds at WIW, organza curtains ****, dining and a more standard fabric for the empty bedroom) came up to around 2k I recall. Think choice of curtains can come in when you confirm choice of laminates/paint colour and all. Maybe when I go to my new apartment this weekend, I can take more detailed shots of the curtain material for your reference. Thanks so much! Can share how much you spent on the curtains? Will get Chiho to help arrange. Still waiting for his drawings
oohaahcantona10 0 Report post Posted April 23, 2009 Was looking around a wee bit for a large clock which can kinda hold its own within my apartment deco and be sufficiently attention-grabbing (since it has to carry a 1.2 m wide strip of wall on its own, next to my TV feature wall). Got this one eventually. The wife was actually quite chuffed that I managed to get it up spot on the position she wanted it to be. Praise be with the Black & Decker hammer drill set.
