Will The Altar Table Behind My Bedroom Affects Me?

I would wish to convert my study room to a bedroom. My mum say girls should not slp in the room whereby the altar table is directly behind your room. Is it true that bad things will happen in terms of fengshui?

Your mom is very right, understands from a temple caretaker that space directly behind altar table should keep clear of anything.

If it is a room then the person staying in the room will have their social life affected. (properly it too “ying” for sleeping, luckly mine is a storeroom behind the alter table.)

it's ok

as long as your bed(rear, front,side) is not directly sharing the same wall as the altar table.

ooohh.. i think before i moved out, when staying at my mum's place, my bed was directly behind the altar, of coz with a wall in the middle.

But i would keep swifting here and there after 2 months. Nothing very much affected it seems.

But better be careful than sorry now that u know

化解之方式除調整床位外別無他法，

如果貴宅有此種情形，建議速速調整床位或是更換房間

才能得以化解。

另外神明廳後方之房間在使用上有很多忌諱，

所以如果家中房間夠使用，此房間建議拿來當作書房會較好。

不建議當臥室使用

My grandfather was not a believer of fengshui.

His bed shared the same wall as the altar.

When he slept, his head faced the direction of the altar.

In his early years, my grandmother had constant arguments with him.

She was beaten up by him when he wanted to get concubines.

He still went on to have concubines anyway.

My grandma died of diabetes and multiple cancers. Suffered for many years.

My grandpa got a stroke and suffered 9 years before his passing on.

Not sure if that's their karma or the impact of wrong fengshui.

No other way to shift bed.
