milo66 0 Report post Posted April 20, 2009 The 3D drawing on the living/dining area. Somewhat different from the initial layout where all the carpentry is on the right hand side as the hall is really too long. ID proposed it on the left hand side instead but felt weird cos it will then have a super big space at the shoe cabinet area. Any ideas?
familyof4 0 Report post Posted April 20, 2009 IMHO, i do not encourage the idea of the aircon about the elect goods as u know, sometimes there'll be leakage and just in case this happens, it is better if they can out the aircon at some other locations. But i like the concept...feel cosy...

milo66 0 Report post Posted April 20, 2009 Shkeat - Yup, i have 3 bathrooms. My current house got 2 and i am almost half dead from keeping it clean! Familyof4 - I also worried if anything wrong with the aircon, it will be a hassle to remove it. Ocheeeng - Heehee thks!
xherion 0 Report post Posted April 20, 2009 (edited) hi milo, the layout looks like condo or EC. i agree with familyof4, probably not wise to have the wall feature underneath the aircon as from time to time even if the aircon doesn't leak it needs to be serviced/wet cleaning. the original idea of having long feature wall to accomodate livinh/dining is better i think. your layout is similar to mine in the case of the long hall, i plan to have the feature wall on opposite side of aircon. may i know which ID you engaged? i quite like the design Edited April 20, 2009 by xherion

Can anyone share whether putting the carpentry on the longish side is better or as attached in the current pict?

xherion 0 Report post Posted April 20, 2009 hi milo, you can see my layout and arrangement in the t-blog here: tblog i planned to have the living/dining on longish side, but the dining i shifted to the end of hall since we have a bay window there for seatee. but the living room feature wall and artwork will be in longish side opposite the aircon
