Thanks! We'll still trying to settle in and unpack all our stuff!!! We'll see how long the nasi lemak stall lasts. That time before the TV programme show their episode, they haven't displayed their gold medal yet and there was hardly any people eating at the stall. I thought they looked quite unappetising too so never tried. Then suddenly a few weeks ago long queues started forming and we noticed the gold medal. That's why the western food stall closed down! Food just cannot make it. Read from another forum about some folks' lousy experience with the stall as well. I don't even wanna try when it was still around! However, the zi char stall is good. Can eat that one at night. They have a certain quality (in my opinion). Apparently it's part of a company that does catering for events and functions. Signed up a package with Furniture Club and confirmed my items a few weeks ago.. was supposed to choose 4 items (sofa, tv console, coffee table and dining table with chairs) but end up taking 3 items only as the sofa we choose is extremely costly.. Items will not be able to deliver in time for my move in as my sofa needs customization.. In e meantime, we will be sitting on e floor.. haha.. my bedframe will not be delivered on time too.. will only come in a week later.. so many delays... Sofa! will be getting it in white! i love e clean cut lines.. Dining Table.. my coffee table is a smaller version of this.. Dining Chair x 4.. also in white.. I order the sambal kangkong, and they cook it as if salt is FOC..i can't even force myself to finish and it cost $9. Next time I plan to ask them to use less SALT. This is what i did with my regular zi char stall in Pasir Ris. The nasi lamak.. really alamak! The chill is very sweet and has lots of MSG.. I can detect it the MSG! THe curry is too sweet for my liking! We notice the queue is shorter now.... Let's wait and see... Oh, I find the small bowl noodle... xiao wan mian quite nice. newnyew 1 Report post Posted September 23, 2009 we spent abt 800 at ikea! heng pay by 12mths installment haha... bought 3Lack bookshelves, one study table n some zupalang. wanted to customise at first but now scared of contractors le. rather buy from ikea. they came just now. so house messy again eh why eric said cannot fit lei? ours is taller but urs is broad one ma. hehe u have to wait for another 2 weeks for the pix liao i wan go! sunday wat time? hopefully elane, tuababy, bbtbb can come. then fun liao eh mumu, bbtbb is tuababy's darling la. u too long no online to check out stuffs le. hahahha.. tell u something kaypoh. my direct upstairs also reno now. went up n see see. lucky owner not in. heard they r the owners of a hair styling salon. they moved the bomb shelter hole to above the bomb shelter door lei! didnt know we can do that. they also knock off one room. but not like mine. they knock the wall linking the master room n bedrm 2 so their master room is one longish room. got platform but i think they shd be quite small size cos platform quite high. hhahha.. n their bath tub also mini size. haha wa u all keep talking abt food... ya nasi lemak no nice de. eat le forget taste liao. i still prefer yishun food. haiz... Thanks! no problem~ btw, if u free u can also pop by Hommage Trading or S&C.. they might have same/similar design but at lower price.. personally bought my bedframe from Hommage.. find that their price is reasonable and have good customer service they have sofas too! my friend went down recently to check on their sofa and find their price reasonable.. recently jus discover that they also sell e dining table which i got from FC too.. i dare not check with them their selling price jus in case later i 'dui'.... .... i have not been to S&C before but heard from comments on renotalk that e price is reasonable too.. same design as outside retail but selling at much cheaper price..
