And this is what we will be doing

without3Ddetails.jpg

Our theme for the house will be all white, with plenty of glass! But due to $$ constraint, we couldnt do as much glass works as we wanted to be.. :(

We will be doing up the living room, kitchen, 2 bathrooms and our master bedroom.. Below are a brief write up on what we will be doing..

Living Room: Hack floor tiles, do household shelter feature wall, tv console, dining settee, false ceiling works, glass divider

Kitchen: Hack floor tiles, hacking of wall, do kitchen cabinet, moveable breakfast table, create a laundry area glass divider

Both Bathroom: Hack floor and wall tiles, vanity cabinet (master only), change glass door for master bathroom and bi-fold door for common bathroom

Master Bedroom: Create L-box with cove lighting, laminated partition with half height glass, Alumix pole system wardrobe

Nice layout.!! :D

White really nice.

We wanted a white initally, but seems like now my house concept is white n black.

cos will be looking at black homogeneous tiles.

but furnitures will still be white, creamy.

Glass is nice. I love glass too.

my study room will be a open conceopt, with glass doors and one wall glass.

and my kitchen and balcony will too have glass.

Living room tiles looks good. white homogeneous tiles?

Hi Ivy & Xherion,

Yup, the previous owner did maintained the whole house flooring quite well.. even for e toilets too.. Both our parents commented that also..

And we have been debating for a long time whether should we keep e tiles or hack it.. Cause its really a waste to hack it off.. But the color of e flooring is not entirely white (more of beige) and e size is smaller (we like those 600x600 big big tiles) which is not to our liking.. so we decided to change it lo.. n our parents had been nagging at us since then.. :P

Hi Pinkiedreamy,

e living room tiles are more of beige color actually.. and yes, its homogeneous tiles..

will be replacing e living room tiles with white 600x600 homogeneous tiles.. :D

Im sure your white n black combi will look nice too! ;)

i saw a black 'galaxy' tiles that is very nice and for a moment, i thought of using black tiles too! haha..

I will be doing open concept for my kitchen and master bedroom too!

Seems like our design concept is pretty similar! hehe..

Furniture wise will be white, white and white.. haaha..
